The function mul::is_polynomial(x) does a simpler version of power::is_polynomial(x) on its factors. Bug fix G_do_hoelder

Dear all, attached is a small bug fix for the method G_do_hoelder in the file inifcns_nstsums.cpp The method G_do_hoelder transforms the arguments as z --> 1-z. If z has an imaginary part, the sign of the imagniary part transforms as s --> -s. In the special case where z is real and >1, the transformed value is real and <0. For (transformed) real negative values of z the sign of the imaginary part is not relevant (there are no branch cuts). The code requires that in this case the sign takes the default value +1. Another bug fix for the polylogs

Hello, attached is patch for a bug fix in the file inifcns_nstdsums.cpp. This bug is not related to any bug reported in January. The bug manifest itself that G-functions with trailing zeros and y<>1 are not calculated correctly. Description: The method G_do_hoelder is called from the method G_numeric. G_do_hoelder expects arguments without trailing zeros. (The reason is that G_do_hoelder uses the scaling relation, which is only valid for G-functions without trailing zeros.) Trailing zeros are handled by the method G_do_trafo. The patch ensures that the method G_numeric calls in the case of trailing zeros the method G_do_trafo and not G_hoelder. Best wishes, Stefan

Dear all, please consider the attached patches: GiNaC is able to check whether expressions are sums of possymbols. We can use that to evaluate some step functions immediately: 0001-Evaluate-step-whenever-possible.patch This should be a generic transformation from an integral with a step function to step functions times integrals without: 0002-Integrate-when-integrand-is-a-product-with-a-step-fu.patch This patch implements Pauli matrices in the same manner as in color.cpp (shamelessly borrowed...): 0003-Implementation-of-Pauli-matrices.patch As opposed to the color algebra, a product of pauli objects can always be reduced to a linear combination of single pauli objects: 0004-New-function-pauli_normalize.patch Best wishes, Matthias Dellweg
