Just a few questions ...
Rationale: Okay, the old scheme was libginac-1.5.so.0, so it looks like no problem, but distributions might have packages named libginac1.5 and would prefer to continue with libginac2, because libginac0 breaks lexicographic ordering.
As of commit f320e27e9 the name has changed to libginac.so. So, what do you mean with libginac0? Where does this 0 come from?!? More importantly, why does lexicographic ordering matter?!? Regards, Jens
