Hello, My system is SuSE Linux 9.2 (32 bit) and the gcc has the version 3.3.4, cln is version 1.1.9 I have seen this error mentioned in the mail lists on October 22, 2004 but I could find no solution. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I might do to eliminate the problem? Where does sln get these references? I could not find them in the source files. From a log of configure, I see that gmp exists: checking for recent enough gmp.h... yes checking for working libgmp... yes exam_DF.o(.text+0x41): In function `_GLOBAL__I__Z11test_dfloatv': ../include/cln/float.h:649: undefined reference to `_GLOBAL__I_cl_module__cl_ieee__firstglobalfun' exam_DF.o(.text+0x46):../include/cln/dfloat.h:290: more undefined references to `_GLOBAL__I_cl_module__cl_ieee__firstglobalfun' follow ../src/.libs/libcln.so: undefined reference to `_GLOBAL__I_cl_module__cl_SV_ringelt__firstglobalfun' ../src/.libs/libcln.so: undefined reference to `_GLOBAL__I_cl_module__cl_GV_number__firstglobalfun' ../src/.libs/libcln.so: undefined reference to `_GLOBAL__I_cl_module__cl_GV_I__firstglobalfun' ../src/.libs/libcln.so: undefined reference to `_GLOBAL__I_cl_module__cl_SV_number__firstglobalfun' ../src/.libs/libcln.so: undefined reference to `_GLOBAL__I_cl_module__cl_symbol__firstglobalfun' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [exam] Error 1 cheers, Larry -- registered Linux user 266832
