This appears to be a #define DS <some-numeric-value> in a header file of Solaris/x86. Try adding a
#undef DS
in src/base/digitseq/cl_DS.h line 49.
@Steve Ayrgon: Did this solve the problem? I'm interested because I'ld like to apply a patch.
